Texting
Every day, over two million text messages are sent to people's mobiles and palm pilots in New Zealand. Texting, or short message service (SMS) has become an integral part of marketing, compliance, advocacy and recruitment campaigns in New Zealand, particularly those targeting younger audiences.

The Electoral Enrolment Centre's campaign in 2005 used texting as a way for people to order enrolment packs, which we mailed out. The recruitment campaign for the Navy invites people to text their interest to us and we respond by sending out information packs.

Email, fax and web enquiries
You may choose to use other technologies such as email, fax and the internet, instead of the phone. The messages are received, allocated to a customer service agent and responded to just as with the phone calls we receive. Similarly, we'll update your database with every enquiry received.
