Electoral Enrolment Centre

For the last four elections, Telelink has played an important part in ensuring voters are enrolled and their details are up-to-date. We answer questions about how to vote and provide information about the electoral system.

In the six months leading up to the 2008 election, we took 160,000 voice calls as well as thousands of information requests by text and email.

If a voter wants to know whether they're on the electoral roll, our operators are skilled in eliciting their details to check the database and confirm their entry without divulging any personal information. If a voter wants to enrol or alter their details, we'll send them a pre-filled form to be signed and returned, and then update the database. Text and email requests are queued and responded to in the same way as we take voice calls.

We provide our operators with an ongoing training programme so that they can answer any questions about the election process and how it works. In addition, we record all enquiries and calls, providing the Electoral Enrolment Centre with an invaluable information source for future planning.

The professionalism, accuracy and knowledge of our operators ensure we deliver a premium service so that all eligible voters get the chance to vote.

“For the last nine years, including three General elections, we’ve used Telelink, because they always deliver on their promises.”
